How to Marry a National Guardsman
National Guardsmen are brave men and women tasked with protecting the homefront in times of crisis. Due to the possibly hazardous nature of their work, becoming engaged to a National Guardsman is a tricky affair, but nothing can stand in the way of true romance. Completing the walk down the aisle does require legal procedures to make your marriage valid in your state.

Go to your town hall or other administrative building to apply for a marriage license.

Pay the required fee and complete the paperwork to obtain a legal license.

Have a minister, clergyman, or judge complete a marriage ceremony.

Ask the minister, clergyman, or judge to sign the marriage certificate. Return the marriage certificate to city hall or the designated administrative building in your community to file your marriage on record.
