How to Clean Lamb Lining in Handbags

Lamb lining in handbags is probably lamb's wool, also known as sheepskin. It looks just like the skin of a sheep and makes the inside of whatever it lines warm and soft. While throwing your whole purse into the washing machine may not be an option, you can spot clean your purse's lamb lining to keep it looking new.

Things You'll Need

• 1/4 cup mild laundry detergent
• Sponge
• Bucket
• Towel

Instructions

1. Mix 1/4 cup mild laundry detergent with 1 gallon warm water.

2. Remove all of the contents of your purse. Dip the sponge in the water and wring it out until it is damp.

3. Dab the lamb lining in your purse with the sponge to remove any spots and clean any stains. Do not rub the lamb lining as it may rub the stain deeper into the fur.

4. Use a towel to soak up any excess water from the lamb lining.
