DIY USB Audio Interface

A large number of audio devices interact with other equipment through the use of RCA audio cables. However, there are a number of devices that can interface with these audio device but do not have the necessary RCA ports. If the device in question possesses USB ports, you can still make the devices interact with a special audio adapter.

  • RCA audio cables
  • Stereo RCA-to-USB adapter

Instructions

    • 1

      Connect one end of your RCA cables to the RCA ports on your audio device.

    • 2

      Connect the other end of the RCA cables to the RCA ports on your RCA-to-USB adapter.

    • 3

      Connect the USB cable extending from the RCA-to-USB adapter to an available USB port on your USB audio device. Your USB and RCA devices can now interact via the adapter.
