How to Delete a Listing on Amazon

Selling your books, belongings and other types of merchandise through Amazon.com is one way to make some extra money. Setting up an account can be done by visiting the website and registering for a seller account. You can do this by visiting the website www.amazon.com. Click the link at the bottom labeled "Sell on Amazon." You will then be able to register for a professional account, for a monthly fee, or an individual item account, which charges you per item.

1. Visit the Amazon Services website. (See Resources.)

2. Log in to your seller account.

3. Click the "Inventory" link.

4. Look for the item you wish to delete. Click on the box next to the SKU. This is located to the left of the SKU number.

5. Click on the drop-down box above it. Select "Delete Listings," from the choices provided, then select "Go." The item will be deleted.

Tips & Warnings

• This should only be done if you do not wish to sell the item anymore.
