How to Decorate for a Lingerie Shower
Lingerie showers are generally bridal showers with a lingerie theme, meant to help the bride-to-be stock up on lingerie. Choose decor that won't make the bride-to-be blush with discomfort. The decorations should reflect the theme of the party without offending any of the guests, as well. For example, raunchy decor may be too much for her grandmother, whereas it may be perfect if it's just her friends.

Set the mood with lighting. A fancy chandelier, candles or dimmed lights will create an intimate atmosphere.

Sprinkle rose petals around the room, particularly on the tables and along the major walking paths in the room. Bouquets of fresh flowers can add to the visual appeal, while adding a feminine scent. Use the bride-to-be's favorite flowers or scent if you can.

Hang a clothesline across the room and pin sexy bras, panties, bustiers, corsets or other lingerie from the line, which can double as gifts for the bride-to-be. Cut out paper products in the shape of lingerie if you don't want to use real lingerie.

Cover sofas and chairs with luxurious materials, such as satin or velvet. Toss pillows on the seats or oversized cushions on the floor for extra seating. Arrange the seating in an intimate manner, the way you might imagine a French boudoir.
