Instructions

    • 1

Place a single candy wafer of a different color into each plastic-foam egg-carton well or painter's palette well. The painter's palette or egg-carton wells keep each of the colored Make 'n Mold candies separated as they melt. You will use each of these melted, colored candies to paint the inside of the shaped-candy mold with colored, melted candy.

    • 2

Melt the wafers in the microwave on "Medium," or 50-percent power, for 30 seconds, stirring every 10 seconds. Use a separate toothpick for each color.

    • 3

Dip the paintbrush into a melted color in the painter's palette or plastic-foam egg-carton well, and brush it on the inside of the shaped-candy mold, where you want that color to be on the mold. For instance, if the shaped-candy mold is a baseball, apply a melted red-candy wafer to fill in the outline of the seams of the baseball. Use a toothpick tip to create intricate designs.

    • 4

Let the first color sit for five to 10 minutes to harden before applying a second color or filling the mold.

    • 5

Melt the main color of Make 'n Mold candy wafers in a microwave-safe bowl on "Medium," or 50-percent, power in several 30-second increments. Stir the wafers between each of these intervals until the candy has completely melted smoothly.

    • 6

Pour the melted candy into the shaped-candy molds, and fill each to the top.

    • 7

Refrigerate the shaped-candy mold for 10 to 15 minutes or until a light tap on the back of the shaped-candy mold releases the candy.

    • 8

Store leftover candy in the refrigerator, especially in warmer climates.
