Charmglow Gas Grills Assembly Instructions

The Charmglow 4 Burner Heavy-Duty Gas Grill was originally sold by Brinkmann but is no longer in production. The grill's features include four main burners, a rotisserie burner, a side burner, a warming rack and an electronic igniter. While the grill's top comes packaged as a single piece, the base must be assembled from individual components. Because the top is heavy, you may need help for the assembly.

• Phillips screwdriver
• AA battery

Instructions

Grill Base

1. Prepare a large work area and spread cardboard or newspaper on the ground to minimize the risk of damaging the finish on the grill's components. Place the side cart assemblies on the work area, with the bottom edges facing upward. Bolt the ends of the bottom frame to the bottom edge of each side cart assembly.

2. Fit the cart base between the side cart assemblies. Slide the cart base until it is resting next to the bottom frame. Bolt the ends of the cart base to the side cart assemblies. Screw the casters into the holes located at the bottom end of each side cart assembly. Use a wrench to tighten the nuts on the casters until they are secure.

3. Fit the back panel over the back of the side cart assemblies. Align the edge of the back panel with the edge of the cart base. Bolt the back panel to the side cart assemblies. Flip the assembled grill cart upright and allow it to rest on the casters. Fit the tank retention screw into the hole near the bottom edge of the grill cart.

4. Bolt the top frame to the grill cart. Lift the grill body assembly and lower it onto the grill cart. Bolt the grill body to the grill cart. Fit the grill doors into the hinges at the front of the cart.

Side Burner

1. Bolt the side table front panel to the side table and the side burner front panel to the side burner. Bolt the side table and side burner assemblies to the sides of the grill cart.

2. Remove the bolts from the side burner valve. Pass the end of the valve through the hole in the side burner base. Fit the end of the valve nozzle into the burner venturi. Keep the nozzle pressed into the venturi and bolt the bezel onto the side burner's control knob stem. Fit the control knob onto the end of the stem.

3. Connect the side burner igniter lead wire to the electrode protruding from underneath the side burner. Remove the bolts securing the hose heat shield to the cart. Fit the heat shield over the hose, then bolt it back to the cart. Install the side burner grate.

Final Assembly

1. Place the heat distribution plates on top of the grill's burners. Lower the grates onto the supports located above the heat distribution plates.

2. Slide the warming rack into the brackets located above the grates. Insert the grease tray into the large slot located underneath the grill.

3. Pull the igniter cap out of the electric igniter. Insert the battery into the igniter. Reinstall the igniter cap.
