How to Upload & Share Your Music for Free
Numerous websites offer you the opportunity to upload and share your music for free. Whether you create the audio file on your own or download from another site, you can upload audio files, such as MP3 files, to these websites so that others can listen to the music as well. Uploading and sharing the music allows you to promote your own music that you have created or to promote the work of a musician you are trying to market.

Tips & Warnings
Social media outlets, such as MySpace, have areas on the site that are specifically dedicated to music. For MySpace, it is MySpace Music. Social media outlets that specifically cater to music or to the music industry are better targeted than sharing your music on general social media websites.
If you have a recorded video of you or the musicians performing the song, you also have the option to upload and share these videos. Video sharing websites such as Google Videos, YouTube and Daily Motion allow you to upload your videos for free. These websites also have sharing options that allow you to embed the link to the video in an email or other marketing materials, or share on your social media outlets.
