How to Make White Chicken Pizza
Pizza does not have to have the traditional tomato pizza sauce to be scrumptious. A pizza that features a white sauce is typically called a white pizza. You can order a white pepperoni pizza at pizzerias that have white as an option -- or make your own pizza with popular toppings of chicken, onions and mushrooms. The result is a delicious pizza that will have people coming back for more. There probably won't be leftover pizza in your refrigerator, and if there is, it won't be there for very long. Things You'll Need
- Pizza pan
- Cooking spray
- 1 can refrigerated pizza dough
- Pan
- 2 tbsp. olive oil, divided
- 1/2 lb. uncooked diced chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp. butter
- 2 medium white onions, thinly sliced
- 12 oz. canned mushrooms
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp. parsley
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Spray the pizza pan with cooking spray.

Take the pizza crust out of the can. Stretch the crust to fit the pan. If it is a rectangular crust, adjust it to fit.

Bake 11 to 14 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven.

Heat 1 tbsp. of the olive oil in the pan. Add the chicken and cook until it is brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.

Add the remaining olive oil and the butter to the pan. Add the onions, mushrooms and garlic. Cook until the onions are tender.

Stir in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Boil until half the liquid is gone. Reduce the heat to a simmer.

Stir in the heavy cream, salt, pepper, parsley and the chicken. Simmer until the liquid thickens.

Sprinkle the pizza crust with both cheeses.

Spoon the chicken mixture over the cheeses.

Bake the pizza for 10 to 12 minutes or until the cheese is melted.

Tips & Warnings
It is very easy to burn the crust. Make sure you keep an eye on it while it's in the oven.
