How to Obtain a Salvage Title
Salvage titles are issued to vehicles sustaining enough damage to render them unsafe and undrivable. The titles are usually issued when the cost of repair exceeds the value of the vehicle. Salvage titles are available in every state. The process of obtaining a salvage title is universally similar, but each state's application process has differences. Contact your local Department of Motor Vehicles to obtain a salvage title.
