How to Auction Snipe Neopets
Neopets players can make points in a number of ways. The Neopets Auction House is a place where users can find good deals on items that usually cost a lot of Neopoints. After obtaining the items, a user can sell them and make a nice profit. The best way to get rich from auctioned items is sniping. Sniping is done by surfing through the auctions and finding items that normally go for an extremely high price or those which are rare.

Go to the Neopets website and log into your account. Individuals who do not have an account can create one free of charge.

Go to the Auction House in Neopia Central. This is found by hovering over the "Shops" link at the top of the page and clicking the "Auctions" link from the drop-down menu.

Click the "Auction Genie" link on the Auction's front page. The link is blue and under the auctioneer's image.

Type the name of the item you are looking for in the text box under the genie's image. In order to "snipe" you have to find an item that is way under the normal cost. This usually involves bidding on high-priced items. Search for items such as paint brushes, transmogrification potions, Draik eggs and Nerkmids.

Choose the desired item on the next page by clicking the blue link next to the item's image. Select the items that have a 30-minute or less auction time. Wait until the time is nearly up on the auction before you start bidding as an early bid only serves to increase the final cost.
