How to Remove VirusBarrier X5

VirusBarrier X5 is a comprehensive antivirus program developed by Intego that offers Mac OS X users advanced protection from malware and network threats. By protecting against spyware and phishing, as well as setting up a firewall, VirusBarrier X5 provides extensive security for your Apple Mac. If you decide you no longer want VirusBarrier X5 or wish to try a different antivirus product, you can uninstall VirusBarrier X5 from your computer by using the Intego installer.

Instructions

1. Locate the "Intego Installer" icon in the "VirusBarrier X5" directory. If you cannot find the installer, download the free "Intego Uninstaller" program from the Intego website.

2. Double-click the icon to open the installation program.

3. Click the "Uninstall Software" option and select "VirusBarrier X5" from the list. Click "Uninstall" to remove the program from your Mac. Once complete, restart your computer.

Tips & Warnings

• If you purchased a CD copy of VirusBarrier X5 you can start the "Intego Installer" by running the disk on your Mac.

• Make sure your computer is protected against malware and network threats at all times.
