How to Change the Reply Name on Delegated Emails

Most modern day email clients allow you to easily change the reply name/reply-to address on delegated emails. For this purpose, you will have to configure the email client with the new reply-to name. Once configured, all the emails that you send will include the new reply name/reply-to address prompting the email recipient to reply to the new address.

Instructions

  1. Change Reply Name in Yahoo Mail

      Login to your Yahoo mail account.

      Click "Options" present on the top right side of the Yahoo mail window and then click "Mail Options."

      Click "Accounts" on the left pane of the Mail Options window that opens and then click "Yahoo! Mail" in the adjacent pane.

      Click "Change reply-to address" below Sending Mail.

      Type the new reply name that you want in the "Rely-to address" box (for example, abc123@yahoo.com).

      Click "Save Changes" present on top of the page.

    Change Reply Name in Gmail

      Login to your Gmail account.

      Click "Settings" on the top right side of the Gmail window.

      Click "Accounts" below Settings.

      Type the new reply name that you want in the "Rely-to Address" box (for example, abc123@gmail.com).

    Change Reply Name in Hotmail

      Login to your Hotmail account.

      Click "Options" on the top right side of the Hotmail window and then click "More Options."

      Click "Reply-to address" below Writing email.

      Click to select the "Other address" radio button and then type the new reply-to address in the box below (for example, abc123@hotmail.com).

      Click the "Save" button.
