How to Get Ironman Mods in San Andreas on the PC

Players of the computer game "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" are able to install a number of mods (called CLEO mods) onto their game save files that change the look and/or feel of the game. One such mod, the "Ironman" mod, changes the player's appearance to look like Ironman, allowing players to reenact scenes from the Ironman movies or comics while playing "San Andreas." Players who wish to install this mod can do so in a few steps.

  • Open the computer's Web browser and navigate to the official Sanny Builder website; see the Resources section for a link. Download Sanny Builder onto the computer. Sanny Builder is the program that allows users to install CLEO mods onto their "Grand Theft Auto" save files.

  • Double-click the file to begin the installation process. When prompted to choose a location for the "CLEO 3 Library," locate the installation folder where you installed the "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" game data, highlight the folder and click the "OK" button to continue.

  • Allow several minutes for the installation process to finish. When the installer is finished, you will have a new folder in the "Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas" installation folder titled "cleo." This is the folder that will house all of the CLEO mod files for your game.

  • Open the computer's Web browser and navigate to a website that has the Ironman CLEO mod available for download. The GTA Place, MOD DB and Softpedia are a few of the websites that have this mod available for download. Download the CLEO mod files onto the computer. The files should be in .cs and .cm format.

  • Drag the .cs or .cm file(s) into the "cleo" folder created in Step 3. Allow several seconds for the files to transfer into the folder. Once the files are finished transferring, load the game. The game will start with the mods in place (different mods replace different costumes, so read the "Read Me" file that came with your CLEO mod to determine exactly how to access the mod once it is installed).
