How to Clean Marble Tabletops With Windex

Windex, commonly used for cleaning windows, also works safely on surfaces including marble, granite, ceramic tile and enamel, according to the Windex website. Marble is an expensive stone used on countertops, so it is important that it is treated with care. Windex will clean and disinfect marble surfaces and will leave the marble shiny.

Things You'll Need

• Windex
• Clean rag
• Towel

Instructions

1. Turn the Windex nozzle to the spray position and spray the solution over the tabletop until all parts have been covered.

2. Allow Windex to sit on the tabletop for five minutes. This will allow it to work as a disinfectant as well as a cleaner.

3. Rinse the tabletop with plain water to remove the Windex residue, since the tabletop might come into contact with food.

4. Dry the table with a soft cloth or tea towel.
