How to Paint British Desert Fatigues
Creating your own British desert fatigues is a great craft for a Halloween costume or theme party. With a little paint, some cargo clothing and a bit of your time, you can easily emulate this look.
Things You'll Need
- Black marker
- 2 paint brushes (medium sized)
- Tan paint
- Light brown paint
- Water
- Cargo long sleeved shirt

Use your black marker to begin by tracing your oblong and conjoining shapes all over your cargo shirt. The shapes should vary in size and form. Cover your shirt with them. Don't worry about these lines showing up later, you'll be painting over them.

Use one of your paint brushes to fill in alternating shapes on your cargo with your tan paint. Keep the tan paint inside of your marked black lines. Restrict the shapes you fill in to the front of the shirt.

Let the front and painted side of your shirt dry for approximately 1 to 2 hours.

Once your paint is completely dry, flip your shirt over and repeat the previous steps to complete the back. Allow this side to dry before use or movement as well.
