  • Grout dye is available in powder or liquid. When mixing in the grout dye, be sure to follow the instructions on the product's label. Dyed grout may dry lighter than it appears when wet. To make sure you have the color you want, spread a thin layer of grout on a scrap piece of substrate. Allow it to dry or use a hair dryer to dry it quickly so you can make sure you have the color you want.
