How to Remove Your Eyelashes With Tweezers
False eyelashes enhance the natural beauty of real eyelashes. While expensive procedures permanently extend and improve your lashes, false eyelashes are a more economical, less harsh way to achieve the same look. False lashes last for one to seven days, depending on the type applied. Removing them can be tricky, risky and sometimes painful if done incorrectly. Things You'll Need
- Eye makeup remover
- Cotton balls
- Hot, steamy towel
- False eyelash adhesive remover
- Tweezers

Soak a cotton ball in eye makeup remover and remove all traces of eye makeup before beginning. If you're wearing heavy eye makeup, you may need to use several cotton balls with remover to ensure there is no trace of makeup on or around your eye area. Allow eye area to dry.

Place a hot, steamy towel over your face to help lift the adhesive on the false eyelashes. The adhesive should rise slightly.

Wet another cotton ball with eyelash adhesive remover. Gently wipe the cotton ball over the lash area to help pull up the adhesive before using tweezers.

Grab the false eyelash with the tweezers carefully. Before pulling up, verify that you don't have any real lashes within the tweezers' arms. Carefully and slowly, pull the false eyelash towards you in a straight line. If the lash is tugging at your eyelid, hard to pull or causing you pain, stop pulling immediately. Repeat the first two steps above before attempting to pull again.

Remove the adhesive with the tweezers. Carefully pluck it away from the skin. Soaking a cotton ball in warm water will also help remove the glue from your eyelid.

Tips & Warnings
Always pull from the base of the false eyelash, never from the tip.
Never pull false eyelashes without first loosening the glue.
