Go to the website for EA Games; click the Battlefield 2 link. The main site for this game advertises the game and provides a link for you to play the game with an online account. However, click on "Armored Fury trial" to select a smaller, trial version of the game. After creating a username and password, you can play the smaller trial version of the game. Be aware that this game ends shortly into the first level, so there is just enough time for you to get used to the controls and see if you would like to start an actual online account.

Go to the website for Neoseeker and choose "Battlefield" and then select "Armored Fury." Instead of selecting the game link, select "Try Battlefield" and then click "Ok" to the free trial offer. You will need to create a username and password, and then you can play the free trial for up to seven days. You can get as far into the game as you can for seven days, but after that time your trial account will be erased. Keep in mind that this is not the full version of the game, so you won't have access to all of the features. However, at the end of the seven days, you can change your account to an actual account and enjoy all of the features.

Go to PC Gamespy's website. Choose Battlefield 2 and click on the Armored Fury logo. You will be able to choose which version of the game to play. Select "Trial" to select the free trial. This trial is good for one life, meaning you can play the game until you die. After that, you will need to log in with a different email address to play it again.
