How to Play Xbox 360 Games That Are Copied on a Hard Drive

The Xbox 360 includes a feature that allows you to install games onto the unit's hard drive and then play them directly from the hard drive rather than the game disc. Playing the game from the hard drive is only possible if the original game disc is inserted in the disc drive. This ensures that you own a legal copy of the disc and have not copied the game from a friend or downloaded it from another source.

Instructions

1. Turn on the Xbox 360, then insert the game you want to play.

2. Select "My Xbox" from the dashboard.

3. Select the game from the list of installed games. The game you select must match the game in the disc drive.
