How to Clean a Husqvarna 1 Sewing Machine
The Husqvarna Viking Company manufactures a variety of sewing machines, from the basic machine to a more complex model. The Husqvarna Viking 1 is an older sewing machine model no longer being manufactured. However, older sewing machines will still work as long as you maintain them properly. Remove the thread, bobbin and old needle from the Husqvarna 1. Throw the needle away. Lift up the machine's presser foot.

Fold the cloth in half and run the folded end through the tension dial on the machine.

Blow compressed air into the bobbin compartment to clean it out. Place 1 drop of sewing machine oil on the cloth. Wipe off the bobbin with the cloth. Dust off the inside of the machine with the brush to remove any lint or dust.

Place 1 to 2 drops of oil on the bobbin movement inside of the machine.

Replace the bobbin and put a new needle in the machine.
