1
Purchase a cheap plant at a plant nursery or any place where plants are sold. Water it deeply the day before you are sending the plant. Let it drain in the sink.
-
2
Wrap the plastic plant container with newspaper and place burlap around the leaves and stems. This will protect the plant during transit and keep the soil moist
-
-
3
Place the wrapped plant in a box that is big enough to fit just the plant. You do not want any extra room in the box that may cause the plant to move around. Fill any little extra spaces with bubble wrap.
-
4
Secure the box with packaging tape. Address the box correctly with the recipient's address and ship it overnight mail.
