How Does One Actually Use a Bidet?
If you live in the United States and you haven't done much traveling throughout your lifetime, you've probably never seen or used a bidet. A bidet is a bathroom fixture that is used to clean a person's nether regions to help them maintain better hygiene. Bidets are often found sitting next to or near the toilet. They use a stream of water to help clean underneath a person's backside, making the area cleaner than using toilet paper alone. Many Americans were never taught how to actually use a bidet. Remove pants and undergarments.

Sit on the bidet. Some people sit facing the handles, and some choose to sit facing away from the handles. Position yourself directly above the sprayer to avoid spraying water all over the bathroom.

Turn on the water slowly, and adjust the temperature and pressure to your liking.

Wash the areas that you intend to wash, and use soap if you prefer. Rinse the area well, and turn off the water using the handles.

Stand up from the bidet, and use a clean towel or paper towels to dry yourself. Put on clothing, and wash your hands with soap and water.

Tips & Warnings
Be careful when turning the water on. The last thing you want to do is burn yourself or do damage to such a delicate area.
