How to Install the 50D Navigation System

The Eclipse 50D navigation system is useful for your vehicle, especially if you frequently go on trips. It gives you both street maps and state maps.       Charge the navigation system. You have two options for charging your system: with a wall outlet or your vehicle's car cigarette adapter. Charge it until the battery icon is full.

      Clean the windshield and press the suction cup against it. Place the mount on the windshield. If you prefer, attach the mount to the dashboard. Take the paper off and press the mount firmly against it.

      Place the Eclipse 50D navigation system in the mounting cradle. Adjust the angle so you can view it from your seat.

      Press the "Power" button on your navigation system. Drive away from large trees, buildings or garages, which may obstruct the device's signal. Wait for the device to detect a signal.
