BornFree Microwave Sterilizer Directions


The BornFree Microwave Sterilizer allows you to sterilize BornFree baby bottles without the hassle of boiling water on the stove. The dome sterilizer can accommodate up to four bottles and their nipples at one time. Once in the microwave, the sterilizer uses steam to kill any pathogens on your baby's bottles. Once the bottles are sterilized, keep them in the sterilizer until you are ready to use them. They will remain sterile as long as the lid remains closed.

  • Wash the bottles and nipples with soap, hot water and a bottle brush. Rinse them thoroughly then dry them. Or, if the bottles are dishwasher safe, they can go in the machine.

  • Wash the BornFree Microwave Sterilizer with hot water and soap. Rinse it thoroughly.

  • Pour one cup of water into the white plastic base.

  • Place the blue plastic bottle stand onto the white plastic bottom.

  • Place up to four BornFree baby bottles into the four depressions in the BornFree sterilizer's blue plastic stand. Place the nipples pointed-end up in the spaces between the bottles.

  • Place the clear plastic lid securely onto the white plastic base.

  • Microwave for 5 minutes on high heat.

  • Remove the unit carefully. Any escaping steam will be quite hot.

Tips & Warnings

  • Throw away any bottles or nipples with deep scratches or cracks. When pathogens become lodged in these cracks, they can survive the sterilization process.
  • According to the BabyCentre's Medical Advisory Board, you should sterilize your baby's bottles until is at least one .
