How to Write an MEA Resume
Middle Eastern Airlines (MEA) jobs are split into two categories: pilots and cabin crew. Before you apply for either role, read the job description carefully. Check that you meet the eligibility requirements and that the job itself meets your expectations before working on your resume. Remember to include any other requirements, such as a cover letter, before submitting your application.
Instructions

1
Open a Microsoft Word document. You can also use an equivalent word processing application such as OpenOffice.org Writer. Save a copy of the blank open document under the name "MEA resume."
-
2
Plan a resume style. For example, will your headings be in capital letters or underlined? Change the document font size and style. Pick a professional font such as Times New Roman or Calibri. Adjust the margins so that they are symmetrical.

3
Type your personal details. Add your name at the top of the page in capital letters. Use a large font, such as 36 points, to make it stand out. Type your address and contact numbers underneath. Most MEA jobs require you to have a Lebanese nationality and be of a certain age. Put these directly underneath your name to make them stand out.
-
4
Add your educational background. Type the places you have studied, starting with the most recent. Include the qualifications you have gained. Highlight subjects that are relevant to the specific job. For example, if you have studied tourism, list this first.
-
5
List your work experience. Begin with your most recent employer. Include your job title, a description of the tasks and activities you performed as well as your achievements. If you have previous experience working for an airline or working in a different MEA role, go into detail to make this job stand out.
-
6
Emphasize that you can speak fluent Arabic and English. This is a MEA requirement for pilot applicants.
-
7
List the contact details of two references. At least one of these should be a previous employer.

Tips & Warnings
Read the job description thoroughly. Tailor your resume to fit the skills and competencies required.
Do not lie. It may be tempting to put false information on your resume to increase your chances of getting a job. In the interview stage it will be difficult to answer in-depth questions on incorrect information.
