How to Get a Lost CD Key for Games
As an anti-piracy measure, nearly every PC video game requires you to enter the CD key that was given at the time of purchase when you want to install or even play the game. If you lose the CD key of a game, you can use key finder programs to search the system registry for the lost CD key. Most games leave traces of the CD key in the system registry even after uninstallation.
