Husqvarna makes a wide variety of outdoor power equipment from small hand-held two-cycle power tools to large commercial lawn tractors. Electrical issues are among the toughest to troubleshoot on these devices. Always check for faulty fuses when resolving electrical problems. If a electrical surge goes through the wiring harness, the fuse will stop it by blowing the connection. Fuses are found on equipment with electric starts. The mechanisms are easy to replace.

Step 2

Open the hood or engine housing. Locate the battery. The fuse holder is located under the battery case cover, in front of the battery, in a small holder.

Step 3

Pull the fuse out of the holder. Push in the new fuse. Fuses have their amperage located on top of the fuse. For example, you'll see a 10A or 20A. Replace the old fuse with a new fuse with the same amperage.
