How to Rename Folders on the iPad
The iPad is a tablet computer released by Apple. With the release of the iOS 4.2 operating system update on November 18, 2010, it was able to do a slew of new things, including multitasking and organizing apps into folders. If you don't like the name you assigned a folder, you can easily rename it.

Press the "Home" button or power button on your iPad to view the lock screen. Then, move the slider to the right to unlock the iPad.

Hold down your finger on the folder you want to rename until it starts to shake. When it starts to shake, lift your finger up.

Tap on the folder you want to rename.

Tap on the white bar that contains the name of the folder above all the apps in the folder. Use the keyboard to rename the folder.

Tap on the "Home" button once after you rename the folder. Press the "Home" button again to close the folder.
