How to Find Cog Buildings With a Free Account in "ToonTown Online"
"ToonTown" is an online game that kids can play for free, but becoming a member allows kids to access more features at no cost. Kids create their own toon characters, explore ToonTown and battle Cogs, the bad guys who are trying to rule ToonTown. Cogs sometimes take over buildings in the game, which players can take back and make "toony" again.

Walk around ToonTown until you find a building that is not brightly colored. When cogs take over a building, the building looks duller than usual and has a scowling appearance.

Take a closer look at the building to see if there is a Cog symbol on the building. Different types of Cogs have different symbols: a tie for Bossbots, a gavel for Lawbots, a dollar sign for Cashbots and a line graph for Sellbots. If you see one of these symbols, a Cog has taken over the building.

Determine how tough the building is going to be by looking at how tall it is; the taller the building, the tougher the Cog inside. Look at the elevator door; if it is closed, Toons are already inside trying to beat the Cog. You can join them by going to that floor.

Use your gags and tricks to help other Toons beat the Cogs in the building; when you do, the building will go back to having a "toony" appearance. You will get stars for un-Cogging buildings that will be displayed above your Toon's head so others will know how many Cogs you have kicked out of buildings.
