How to Cancel a Fitness First Membership in Australia
Fitness First is a health club with many locations throughout the world, including Australia. Members are required to sign a one-year contract. To cancel your membership, you must complete a contract cancellation form and turn it in to a Customer Care Manager. You cannot cancel your contract unless you do so within seven days of signing up, you've been diagnosed with a long-term illness, or you're moving to a place that doesn't have a Fitness First location within 30 kilometers.

Acquire a cancellation form from a Fitness First location. These forms are available at the front counter.

Fill out the form completely, including all requested information. You can request an appointment with a Customer Care Manager if you need assistance filling out the paperwork.

Turn in the form to the Customer Care Manager, if they helped you. Otherwise, send it to the Customer Care Manager at the gym where you signed up via email, fax, or postal mail. You can get the numbers and addresses by asking at the front desk or calling the main office at 1300 55 77 99.

Wait for a follow-up phone call from your Customer Care Manager. They will call to let you know if you qualify for a cancellation and discuss your options.
