How to Disarm a Crimestoppers Gargoyle Alarm

Gargoyle alarms by Crimestopper are aftermarket alarm systems for cars and trucks. They can be programmed according to your preferences to control door locks, horn alarms, headlight flashes, and disable the ignition system. Once the alarm is armed, unauthorized attempts to enter the vehicle will set the alarm off. To prevent the alarm from being activated, or to turn it off once it has been activated, you must disarm it.

Things You'll Need

• Gargoyle alarm key fob

Instructions

1. Press the "Alarm" button on the key fob remote to silence the alarm if it's currently activated.

2. Insert the key into the ignition. Turn the ignition switch to the "On" position without starting the engine.

3. Press and hold the alarm override button located below the steering column until the alarm makes a brief chirp sound. This indicates the alarm has been disarmed. Release the button.
