How to Use Tissue Paper to Decorate Bags

Choose colored tissue paper that coordinates with your gift bag. For added visual interest, choose more than one color of tissue paper

Use the rubber stamps and inks to decorate the tissue paper. You can place the stamp images along the edges or over the entire tissue sheet. Stamp all the tissue sheets that you plan to use on the gift bag. Allow the tissue sheets to dry.

Place a sheet of tissue on a worktable with the decorated side facing downward. Place the gift in the center of the tissue and pull the corners up around the item. Place the item in the gift bag.

Crumple several pieces of tissue and place it in the bag on top of the gift so that the corners stick out of the top. Fluff the edges to fill the top of the bag and ensure that the gift is not visible.

Tips & Warnings
Dress up plain white or brown paper bags with coordinating stamps or stickers to create a custom gift bag.
For a child's gift bag, choose stamps or stickers featuring their favorite items or characters.
