How to Pump Up an Exercise Ball
Exercise balls have become a popular and enjoyable means of losing weight and keeping in shape. Exercise balls come in many sizes for various workout uses. It is important to maintain the correct air pressure for your ball to get the greatest benefit. Your exercise ball should come with manufacturer instructions or a sizing guide for the correct height and air inflation. This also may vary depending upon your height, weight and intended usage.

Read the specifications for your ball, taking note of any particulars that relate to your individual body size.

Prepare your ball for inflation by removing any items that were packaged with or within it. The ball should be inflated at room temperature.

Insert the tip of a ball pump into the hole of the exercise ball to inflate. If using a bike pump, use an adapter (usually provided with the ball) between the pump and your ball to inflate. Inflate the ball to optimum capacity, according to the instructions that accompany the ball.

Allow the ball to sit overnight before usage to allow for any stretching that may occur.

Take care not to over inflate your ball. Maximum diameter should be labeled on your product.
