How to Refrigerate Peach Cobbler

Peach cobbler can serve as a dessert that is rich and satisfying yet refreshingly summery. You can add more or less sugar to both the filling and the topping, based on how sweet your peaches are naturally and how sweet you want the final dessert to taste. Ideally, you should bake your peach cobbler shortly before you wish to serve it. If that is impossible or impractical, however, you can bake your peach cobbler in advance and refrigerate it for up to a week.

1. Cover the peach cobbler lightly with plastic wrap. Do not wrap it too tightly, as doing so can damage the biscuit topping.

2. Store the peach cobbler in your refrigerator. It should be on a flat surface so the toppings do not leak out. Keep the cobbler away from onions, garlic or other strongly scented items that can affect the cobbler's flavor with their odors. Keep the cobbler in the refrigerator for no longer than a week.

3. Preheat your oven to 375 F shortly before you wish to eat or serve your cobbler. Remove the peach cobbler from the refrigerator, unwrap it and bake it in the preheated oven until it is warmed to your liking.

Tips & Warnings

• If you are going to eat the cobbler within a day of making it, you do not need to refrigerate it. You can simply cover it and leave it at room temperature instead.
