How to Change a Direct Debit Account
A direct debit account is a credit card, checking or savings account that you have authorized for another account to charge directly for regular payment of a bill. The direct debit account typically is set up by the account that is receiving payment for a bill. If you want to change your direct debit account, you usually can do so by notifying the account receiving payment by phone or by logging in to the online banking system for the account.
