Go to "Start," "Control Panel," "Programs" and "Programs and Features." Select the currently installed version of Registry Mechanic and click "Uninstall." Restart your computer once you see the screen indicating the the uninstall has been completed successfully.

Visit the PC Tools site (see Resources), then download the newest version of Registry Mechanic from the right side of your computer screen. Click the highlighted "Download" button next to the Registry Mechanic installer, and click "Save" when the dialog window appears asking what you would like to do with the file.

Double-click on the installer package EXE for the most current version of Registry Mechanic that you just downloaded. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.
