How to Wear a Sleeveless Dress

A sleeveless dress keeps your shoulders and arms free from any sleeves or straps, and is perennially in style. This type of dress is held up by elastic or a tie in the front or back of the dress. You can wear a sleeveless dress to many places to keep yourself cool, or to avoid tan marks on your shoulders and arms.

Things You'll Need

• Strapless bra
• Scarf
• Ribbon
• Belt
• Rope
• Shawl
• Jacket

Instructions

1. Put on a strapless bra to provide support for your chest.

2. Hold the elastic part of the dress in both your hands to make an opening for you to step into the dress.

3. Step into the center of the dress and pull the elastic part up.

4. Pull the elastic top part of the dress up to the top of your chest and underneath your arms.

5. Tie a scarf around the dress on your waist to create a decorative element. If you do not have a scarf, you can tie a ribbon, fasten a belt or tie a decorative rope around the dress at your waist.

6. Cover your arms with a shawl or a jacket if you get cold.
