How to Rotate Pictures on Paint
The MS Paint program is included with the Windows operating system. This basic program capably edits photos and enables users to create simple graphic designs. Editing digital photographs can transform images with new effects or change photos so they look somewhat different. Rotate pictures on MS Paint to convert them into a variety of different angles. Rotating images is a useful technique in photo editing.

Open the MS Paint program and open the digital photograph you wish to edit. Click "File," "Open," and navigate to the location where you store the photograph. Highlight it and then click "Open" again.

Select the "Image" tab above the workspace, and then choose "Flip/Rotate" from the drop-down menu.

Select the rotation you wish to use for the photo. Choose from flipping the image horizontally (similar to a "mirror" effect), flipping the image vertically (upside-down) and rotating it by 90 degrees, 180 degrees or 270 degrees.

Click "OK" to execute the rotation.

Click "Undo" to back up and restore the photo back to its original position, if you decide you do not like the rotation. Perform the steps again to make a different rotation.

Select "Save As" to save the rotated image. Enter a new name and save it on your hard drive.
