However, you may encounter issues if you use a clone receiver. Such issues include disruptions in programming, irregular signals and no programming at all. The only option to fix a dead receiver clone is resetting it to its factory defaults.

Turn on your Viewsat Extreme VS2000 clone.

Push the "Menu" button on your remote.

Use your arrow buttons to highlight the option that says "User Settings."

Push the "OK" button.

Dial your VS2000 PIN if/when prompted using the number buttons on your remote.

Push the arrow button to highlight the option "Factory Default."

Push the "OK" button.

Use the side arrow button to highlight "Yes." This will reset your VS2000 Extreme receiver back to its factory defaults. You will regain all the channels that seemed dead before.
