How to Remove Sealed Burners From a Stove

How to Remove Sealed Burners From a Stove thumbnail
Sealed ranges are simple to remove and replace.

Gas stoves come in two varieties: sealed and unsealed. Unsealed ranges have a burner assembly that does not include a lighter. A sealed range has a small ignitor built into the body. When a sealed range fails, it may be necessary to remove it from the oven. When cleaning, it is often necessary to remove the sealed burner as well. Unlike ovens with an unsealed burner, your unit will not have a lifting lid, making removal of the ignitor, if necessary, a bit more difficult. Does this Spark an idea?
