How to Remove a Dialer Administrator

Some telephone companies provide you with an administrator dialer for the phone system. The dialer automates dialing out to customer phone numbers, and it lets managers review reports and employee communications. When you no longer need the dialer, you must remove it in the Windows Control Panel. Windows has an uninstaller, so you can remove all associated files and completely remove it from your computer.

Instructions

    • 1

Click the Windows "Start" button in the lower-left corner of the Windows desktop. In the opened menu, click "Control Panel." A new window will open with a list of links to several utilities.

    • 2

Click "Uninstall a program" in the section labeled "Programs." Another window will open with all of the programs you installed on your computer.

    • 3

Click the dialer icon. Programs will be listed in alphabetical order. Scroll down the list until you find your dialer program.

    • 4

Click the "Uninstall" button. A confirmation dialog box will open with a "Yes" or "No" button. Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to remove the software.
