How to Install a Headliner in a Dodge Dart
The headliner in a car is the fabric which lines the inside of the car roof. Occasionally, this fabric can start to sag which can distract the driver when driving. This makes it quite important to install a new headliner as soon as possible. Most commonly, headliners start sagging when the adhesive glue that sticks the roof of the car to the fabric starts to wear off. You can install a new headliner in a Dodge Dart in a few easy steps.

1
Remove the pair of bolts in each corner of the headliner with a small wrench. It is impossible to remove the headliner without removing these first.
-
2
Put your fingers through the small holes left from where the bolts were and pull downwards to remove the Dodge Dart headliner. With enough pressure the headliner should easily come off without ripping it first. Remove the Dart headliner through the car door once loose.

3
Scrape the remaining bits of glue on the roof of the Dodge Dart with sandpaper.
-
4
Spray a thin line of adhesive glue on the underside of the replacement headliner material and gently push it on to the exposed roof of the Dodge Dart. Push down on the corners and the center of the material to ensure the headliner doesn't start to sag already.
-
5
Trim the new Dodge headliner with scissors if it overlaps a bit. Screw the bolts that were removed earlier back on with a wrench to finish installing your new Dodge Dart headliner.
