How to Organize Baseball Caps

Baseball caps are one of the oldest ways to show your support for a baseball team. While many fans choose to wear these caps on a daily or near-daily basis, organizing them for display is another option. Older fans might have a large number of baseball caps, representing the different styles worn over several decades.

Instructions

    • 1

Install one or more hat racks on a wall. Hat racks are often plastic devices that require the use of a screw driven into a wall. You can then clip the hats onto the rack, displaying each of them in a room. Most racks hold between 12 and 18 hats each.

    • 2

Attach a shelf onto a wall. You will need to screw this into the wall, similar to the hat rack. Shelves allow you to set the hats on the space and display the hats, showing the bill and logo on each cap. Organize the hats according to your preference, such as by color, team, or by the date when you received each hat.

    • 3

Place caps you want to save in a plastic container. You can organize the caps by style, year or another method and keep them from getting dirty, dusty or moldy in the containers. Place tissue paper inside the hats to help keep their original form.

Tips & Warnings

  • Over-the-door hat racks allow you to display hats without putting holes in the wall.
