Install any phone or network cables into your network interface card that may be necessary for you to connect to the Internet.

Insert the installation disc that was provided by your free ISP of choice. This disc will contain any necessary software and drivers needed to facilitate the connection between your computer and the Internet server.

Connect to the Internet using your new ISP. Depending on the ISP, you may need to dial up the server before you can connect to the Internet. If the ISP provides a static Internet connection whenever your computer is on, you should be able to access the Internet simply by opening your web browser and visiting a web page.
