How to Play Mahjong on the Computer
Mahjong is an ancient Chinese game that is played with tiles. The game play is similar to Gin Rummy. There is a national Mahjong league in the US that sets rules for the game. If you just love to play this game or want to learn how, like just about anything else, you can do it online. The game is typically played with four players, so playing on the computer can save you from having to find other players.

Learn the rules. Go to the American Mahjong Association or the (US) National Mah Jongg League and read how to play the game. If you have trouble following the rules learn the rules of Gin Rummy first. Gin Rummy is played with cards but you score in the same manner by maing runs and sets. Understanding this game may help you then apply the concept to Mahjong, which works similarly.
