How to Take the Window Sash Out of a Double-Hung Window Frame
Removing the window sashes in your double hung window from the frame is relatively easy. The window sashes can be a little heavy, depending on the size of the window. Replacing the window sash, balance and side track with new ones instead of replacing the whole window will be easier. New sashes will make the window more energy efficient and will stop the drafts and heat leaking out around the window. Does this Spark an idea?
