Check all of the cable connections running from the treadmill including the power cable and the console cable if the treadmill doesn't start and the panel lights don't turn on. Disconnect and plug all of the cables back in to ensure good connections.
-
2
Turn off the power on the CST3 and leave the treadmill to rest for 1 minute if the treadmill turns on and off by itself. Remove the motor covering so you can inspect the wiring connections for any damage or loose connections.

3
Run a surge protector between the power cable and the electrical outlet and start the treadmill up again if your workout area is prone to electrical power surges. Check the circuit breaker for any trouble if the power goes off upon powering up the treadmill.
-
4
Elevate the treadmill so it is completely compacted when storing the treadmill. Watch the cable as you elevate the treadmill to ensure there is enough slack and the cable doesn't get pulled loose.
-
5
Move the CST3 so the bed of the treadmill is completely flat if the belt slips on the track when you're using the treadmill. Slide the treadmill belt so it is perfectly centered on the bed to prevent slipping of the belt off the track.
