Tips & Warnings

  • Before setting up the Wii with wireless Internet, be sure that your wireless router is fully configured. Write down the SSID of your network and the network key (password) if the network is secured.

  • If the connection test is unsuccessful, double-check the SSID and the network key. If these options are correct, your wireless router may have an enabled MAC filter setting. The MAC address of the Wii, found on the Wii console, will need to be entered into wireless router MAC filter.
