How to Make a Heart Flower Petal Ring Out of Beads

Use multicolored seed beads to add contrast to the center of your ring.

You can create many beautiful projects, including jewelry, using beads as your main medium. With only a few heart-shaped beads, you can create a beautiful cocktail ring that will be sure to catch anyone's eye. You can use regular plastic or glass beads, or for an added touch of class you can even use crystal hearts. These rings can make an excellent gift to yourself or any woman in your life.

Things You'll Need

• Fishing line
• Scissors
• 5 heart-shaped beads
• 5 bicone beads
• 5 colored seed beads
• Super glue
• Adjustable ring

Instructions

1. Cut off a 10-inch length of plastic fishing line.

2. Place your first heart bead on the right side of the string. Next place a bicone bead on the string, followed by a colored seed bead.

3. Thread the left side of the string through all three of the beads.

4. Continue threading the beads, three at a time, and looping the left thread through to secure the beads. You end up with a flower shape. Tie off the flower and cut off the excess string.

5. Apply super glue to the underside of your ring and attach it to the base of your metal adjustable ring. Allow the ring to dry before wearing it.
